Welcome to our Service today!

10.00am - Prayer for our services.  All welcome.

10.45am – Morning Service

After the service, prayer is available for anyone who would like to be prayed with – please make your way to the front of the church where the prayer team will meet you.

Please join us for tea and coffee after the service in the hall.  If you are a visitor here today, we have a welcome leaflet available.  Please ask if you have not received one.

6.00pm – Evening service

Hearing Loop – There is a loop system available downstairs in the centre seating block for those who need it.

“Christianity Explored” January 2008

What are you doing on Wednesday evenings from January 16th?  Graham would like to take the opportunity to encourage you to take part in the “Christianity Explored” course that he will be running.  “Christianity Explored” is an informal course for people who would like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics.  It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him.  You won’t be asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and you can ask any questions you like.  Or, if you prefer, you can come along and simply listen

There is now a sign-up sheet on the board at the back if you would like to go on the course.

We are also looking for a team of helpers to serve each week in two main areas… catering and set up/break down.  If you would like to serve in this way, please sign up.

Offering Envelopes 2008

Next year’s envelopes are now available. If you put cash or cheques in the offering bag on a Sunday morning, why not use one of these preprinted envelopes? The Church can then claim an extra 28% back from the government at no extra cost to you (assuming you are a taxpayer).  There is no minimum or maximum amount; you can give as frequently as you wish and you can stop at any time.  Please speak to Chris for more information.

The Lord’s Pantry

The items we are looking to top-up on at the moment are : tinned potatoes, tinned fruit and tins of chunky soup.

Junior Church

Junior Church is in need of assistance with the younger age groups. Please speak to Debbie if you are able to help out.

Traidcraft

There is a traidcraft table this morning after the service in the coffee hall.   If anyone has a specific request for Sunday 23rd, you can leave a message with Lynne or on Bex’s answer phone and Bex will bring the item/s to church.  The next traidcraft stall will be on 6th January, 2008.

Christmas Greetings’ Board - If you would like to post a Christmas card from yourself to the church family at PSBC, use the board at the back.

 

The Lunch Club Christmas meal – will be held this coming Tuesday 11th December here at Priory Street, at midday.

Rudloe Tots 'Starry Night' Christmas Party is on this Tuesday 11 December at Rudloe Community Centre.  Please pray for the team as they celebrate the Christmas message with the mums and tots who come.  Pray that we will have all the energy and helpers we need to transform the hall into something special!  This year we are giving gifts to the mums instead of the tots and we pray that the gifts we have chosen will bring the light and truth of the gospel into homes this Christmas. 

Alpha Plus Christmas Meal is on Tuesday 11 December at 8pm.

Church Christmas Meal – This will be held this Wednesday 12th at 7.30pm and everyone is welcome to come along.   If you would like to attend, please sign up on the sheet at the back so we have a clearer idea of numbers.  Please also indicate if you are willing to help serve, clear up etc.

Rehearsal for Nativity - There will be a rehearsal for all junior church children and teachers involved next Sat. 15th December at PSBC at 9.30am.  Speak to Debbie or Rob if you are unsure whether you should be there!
