18th November

Welcome to our Service today!

10.00am - Prayer for our services.  All welcome.

10.45am – Morning Service

After the service, prayer is available for anyone who would like to be prayed with – please make your way to the front of the church where the prayer team will meet you.

Please join us for tea and coffee after the service in the hall.  If you are a visitor here today, we have a welcome leaflet available.  Please ask if you have not received one.

6.00pm – Evening service

Hearing Loop – There is a loop system available downstairs in the centre seating block for those who need it.

Memory verse for the week commencing 19/11/07:

‘And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”  Romans 8:28

Please pray for…

Jim and his family at this very sad time as they grieve the loss of Gerard, Jim’s son.

Week of Prayer for the Church

Please read the enclosed leaflet and see how you can participate in this special “week of prayer” as the leaders seek the mind of Christ over the move/multiply issue at Priory Street.

Nancy’s Concert

Nancy and Phillip’s concert is being held next Saturday evening here at Priory Street!  We still need about 4 people to help with serving refreshments during the evening – if you can help, please see Alan C after the service.  Donations from the evening will go towards the Bulabakulu Orphanage in Uganda.  Tickets are still available from the church office or Revelation Bookshop.  This is a wonderful opportunity to invite non-Christian friends and family - please support this event!!

Ladies’ Weekend Feb ‘08

There are very few spaces left for the ladies’ weekend in February!  If you have expressed an interest in going, please make sure you have filled in a form and paid your deposit to Pam.

Christmas Hampers

This year we would once again like to make up some hampers as a way of showing God’s love to those in our congregation who might appropriately be blessed in this way.  If you would like to give, please put your contribution in a brown envelope (complete details on the front if you are a UK tax payer so we can claim gift aid) and give to Chris (treasurer) or hand in to the church office.  We will be collecting until the 2nd December.  Thank you.

The “Lord’s Pantry”

Our pantry needs some filling for the Christmas period! This week our needs are: long grain rice, tins of rice pudding and washing-up liquid.

Care for the Family

Please see the purple leaflets at the back about a Care for the Family event being held in Swindon on the 28 Nov – “How to bring your kids up in church...without them ending up hating God!”.

Christianity Explored…

Next term we are running Christianity Explored as a 10 week course starting on Wednesday January 16th.  For more information, please see Monique at the end of the service!

Last but not least…

Audrey has knitted some winter hats which are on sale next door after the service, proceeds of which will go to Nana and Sita in Austria.  (Thank you, Audrey!)

Tots Accompanied appear to be missing some of their small plastic tables.  Please return them if you know their whereabouts!!

There is an assortment of crockery etc. in the kitchen which does not belong to the church.  Please have a look through it and take whatever belongs to you.  Thank you.
