of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:6b/

folks and their guests. Please pray for God's blessing on their time
together, and for warm, fine weather this afternoon!

members try to attend as the 2007/08 budget will be presented at this
meeting.
*_Mission_**_ Partner News - Nana and Sita_*
Nana and Sita have found the experience of moving to new accommodation
particularly financially challenging. If you are in a position to, and
would like to help, then you can give money to Chris Grant marked "for
Nana and Sita". Their address is available from the church office.
*_!Youth Matters!_*
The youth group would like to thank everyone for their support of the
cake sale last Sunday - they raised £52.81 towards the costs for Soul
Survivor in August.
A new youth event will be starting up this evening. "The Launch" will
take place on the second Sunday of each month, from 7.30–9.00pm at
church, and will include workshops, chocolate sale, and games etc. All
secondary school age children are welcome.
*_Please pray_*
Please pray for seven of our year 7 junior church group who are going
away next weekend, camping in Matt and Gail garden and enjoying physical
activities and spiritual challenges. Please pray that the weekend will
be significant for each of them in their journey of faith, and for
safety. Pray also for the leaders - Nathan, Mark and Cathy.
Practical need : Cathy needs three 3-4 man tents, preferably quick and
simple to erect, and not too precious - we don't plan to destroy them
but we don't want the responsibility of taking anyone's pride and joy!
Contact Cathy if you can help.
*_Traidcraft_*
There will be a traidcraft stall after the morning service today –
selling a wide range of fair trade goods.
*_Joint Housegroup_*
The next Joint Housegroup will be on Wednesday 18th July. Everyone is
welcome to come along at 7.30pm – you do not have to be attending a
housegroup to join us for the meal and time together afterwards.
*_Bible Holiday Club_*
The dates for the summer community outreach, which will be a Bible
Holiday Club, are Wednesday 22nd August to Saturday 25th August from
1.30-4pm daily here at the church. If you would like to volunteer to
help, please see Alan C.
*_Austria_**_ Aid Trip – leaving next Saturday!_*
Please pray for the team going to Austria from PSBC – they leave on
Saturday for a two week mission with the Oasis centre in Austria. If you
would like to donate any of the items that have been requested please
bring them to the church office by 12 o'clock Thursday. Items are: for
the refugees - baby bottles for newborns, dummies, men's sports shoes
and sandals; and for the Oasis team - Polo Mints, Lyles Golden Syrup,
English tea, and American NABISCO Wheat Thins. Thank you to everyone who
has donated.
*_Rudloe Housegroup_*
The Rudloe Housegroup, which Matt and Sue have been running for the past
eight years, will be having their final meeting this Wednesday. This
will be a BBQ, to which everyone who has ever attended the housegroup is
invited. Please reply to Sue in person.
/Please pray for our housegroups as they are reviewed over the summer,
and for God to draw new leaders to serve in this valuable way./
