After the service, prayer is available for anyone who would like to be prayed with – please make your way to the front of the church where the prayer team will meet you.

Please join us for tea and coffee after the service in the hall.  If you are a visitor here today, we have a welcome leaflet available.  Please ask if you have not received one.

Large print copies of the song words and notice sheets are available on request from the door stewards.

Hearing Loop – There is a loop system available downstairs in the centre seating block for those who need it.

Memory Verse for the Week commencing 7/5/07

“Have you not known?  Have you not heard?  The Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth.  He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.  He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.” Isaiah 40:28-29

Spring Harvest

We have been back from Spring Harvest 2007 for 3 weeks and there are just over 4 weeks before we have to book for 2008!  So those of you who have been motivated to return, or to attend for the first time, will need to start making decisions in the next four weeks.  If you are interested in attending Spring Harvest 2008, please speak to Helen asap about booking or for more information.  Helen will need to hear from you by Sunday 3rd June.

Traidcraft

There will be a Traidcraft stall held fortnightly after the morning service – next week you can once again stock up on your fair trade goods and “traffiked-free” chocolate.

If you are able to help out with the Traidcraft stall on a rota basis, Bex would love to hear from you.

Housegroup Leaders’ Meeting

Housegroup leaders are welcome to call in and meet with Graham at the Manse for coffee and discussion about the new housegroup material this evening, 7.45pm.

Tuesday Lunch Club

Our older folks and friends will be meeting this Tuesday at 12 midday for lunch and fellowship.

Special Church Meeting

Please would you take the time to read the notice on the back board regarding roles of deacons and church rules for deacon election.  Please note there will be a church meeting on Monday 4th June at 8pm as per the motion voted for at the recent Annual Church Meeting.

Work Party

We will be holding a work party next Saturday - put the date in your diary!  Details of jobs to be done are on the church office door. Work starts at 8am with Priory Street's famous `work party breakfast` at 10am!  If you are available, please sign up and you can contact Paul for any further information.

PSBC Tots Accompanied

The tots group is a flourishing group averaging 35 children with their accompanying carers each week.  The team of volunteers are committed to the group, but are currently looking for leadership following Suzanne’s move out of the area.  If anyone feels they might be able to join the team and take the helm, please prayerfully consider this and then have a chat with Graham.

Mission Partner News

We welcome Andy “Paxo” back after his time with Wycliffe Bible Translators.   Please pray for Andy as he seeks God’s direction for the way ahead and for God’s comfort for Shannon in his absence.  For more news and prayer request details, please look at the noticeboard in the hall.

Housegroup Material

The housegroup material (1 John) for this term is still available for purchase from the back of the church.  Please pop your £3 into the little red box next to the books.  Book numbers are limited!

Junior Church

Calling all teachers who have not returned their CRB forms.  There are still 5 outstanding forms to be returned!  Please could you complete them and make an appointment with Graham asap so we can send them off – you know who you are!!. Thank you to all those who have responded so far.

Can you help?

Dave and Monique require some assistance on Monday evenings – either someone (with CRB clearance) to sit for 1 1/2 hours with the children or someone to run one of their children to and from the Olympiad in Chippenham while Monique is running the new Alpha Plus course.  If you might be able to help, please speak to Monique or Dave.

Priory Street Cricket Match

We have been invited to play a cricket match against Queensway Chapel, Melksham, but would like to find out if we could first get a team together.  If anyone is interested in playing, please contact Dan.
