“Open Blue” – Easter Outreach
Please take time to see the display at the back of the church on our Easter Saturday outreach with the “Open Blue” double decker bus. If you are interested in being part of this outreach event, please speak to Alan C. We will be looking for volunteers, to work in the café area, to take part in children’s work and we would also love to have 2 or 3 face painters on the day. Roz will be putting together a puppet team for the day and Alanna will be teaching some hip hop street dance.
Church Accounts: The 2006 Church Accounts are now available from the Treasurer. Due to the complexity of the accounts (because we are a large church now), there will only be a brief presentation at the ACM. Copies of the accounts are now available from Chris. However, to do our bit for the environment they will also be available on the blog (follow the links from the notices page). We would encourage all of you who are able, to access the electronic version. If you would like more information or explanation about the accounts, please speak to Chris between now and before the AGM and she will be happy to assist.
Election of Deacons: Please read the insert page relating to the Appointing of Deacons. Nominations for vacancies are now open and will close at 10.45am on Sunday 8th April.
Ministry Leaders: The ACM is approaching and it is time once again to start thinking about your report for the meeting. You will soon be receiving information about the report format requirements for this year from the church office.

Please take time to look at the update on the board from Alanna following the young people’s weekend away. Please continue to pray for Alanna who is away on a two week mission in

The Marriage Course is commencing on Tuesday 17th April for seven weeks, concluding on 29th May. The course is designed for any married couple who wants to build a strong and lasting relationship. Privacy as a couple is always respected and there is no group discussion or requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone else. For further details about the topics covered or other aspects, please take a sheet off the table at the back of the church or contact Geoff and Marilyn, or Pam and Stuart.

The Food Pantry
Thank you to all of you who continue to make donations to the food pantry. The most pressing needs this week are for pasta cook-in sauces, rice pudding and deodorants.
Can you help the Debt Advice Centre?
The Debt Advice Centre needs 1 or 2 people who could commit to some Friday mornings to help with writing letters and making phone calls on behalf of our clients. At the moment this is provided by Marilyn, but sadly she will be leaving us in July. If you are computer literate, are familiar with Microsoft Word, and have a few hours to spare, please speak to Alan C.
