After the service, prayer is available for anyone who would like to be prayed with – please make your way to the front of the church where the prayer team will meet you.

Please join us for tea and coffee after the service in the hall. If you are a visitor here today, we have a welcome leaflet available. Please ask if you have not received one.

Large print copies of the song words and notice sheets are available on request from the door stewards.

Hearing Loop – There is a loop system available downstairs in the centre seating block for those who need it.

Memory Verse for the Week commencing 30/4/07

“Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips! Do not let my heart incline to any evil.” Psalm 141:3-4a

Traidcraft is back!

There will be a Traidcraft stall after this morning’s service. This is an opportunity to buy goods that give a fair price back to the producers in the Third World. Bex would like to increase our awareness in particular of people traffiking in the cocoa trade and will have lots of fair trade chocolate for all those chocolate-lovers today! Take time to look at Bex’s display on the red noticeboard today and increase your awareness of the world traffiking problem. If you are able to help out with the Traidcraft stall on rota basis, please talk to Bex today or phone her.

Work Party

We will be holding a work party on Saturday 12th May - put the date in your diary! During the day we will want to erect a chain fence around the approach path to the church and rub down, seal and paint the two sets of doors into the church and hall. Other work will depend on weather and numbers of volunteers. Work starts at 8am with Priory Street's famous `work party breakfast` at 10am. If you are available, please sign the sheet on the church office door and you can contact Paul for any further information.

Mission Partner News

Andy “Paxo” is returning from Canada on 6th May at the end of his time with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Please pray that God’s peace will be with Andy as he makes preparations to leave, and for a safe journey home. Andy has also asked that we support him in prayer as he seeks God’s direction for the way ahead and for God’s comfort for Shannon as he leaves. For more news and prayer request details, please look at the noticeboard in the hall.

Can you help?
