Harvest Service : 1st October

This year for Harvest we will once again be collecting tins for the “doorway” homelessness project in Chippenham. As well as meals, the Project provides a whole range of services to the homeless – see the posters around for more details. We will be collecting tins of: Meat, fish, fruit, peas, vegetables, baked beans, tomatoes, rice pudding, tea and coffee. Please bring all offerings to the Sunday services on 1st October. Any contributions of garden flowers and greenery for Harvest decorations would be gratefully received at the church on the mornings of Friday 29th or Saturday 30th Sept. If anyone would like to help Marilyn decorate the church on Saturday morning, you would be most welcome. Please contact Marilyn.

Austria Aid Trip : 25 Nov - 1 Dec

This year's team going to the Oasis Centre is Christine, Andy, Dave, Sue and Gary. Please pray for them as they meet for the first time on Monday night and they start their own 'journeys to Austria'. For some it is a return visit and for others it is their first time tasting mission. BUT taking the aid cannot happen unless we collect some! And there is opportunity for those who cannot GO to be a vital PART of the preparations. If you would like to be involved in any of the advertising, collecting and sorting please speak to Christine asap to find out more. What are we collecting this year?
