Welcome to our Sunday services today!

 

10.00 am Every Sunday - Morning prayer for our services. 

All welcome

 

10.45 am Morning Worship with Junior Church and crèche.

           

After the service, prayer is available for anyone who would like to be prayed with – please make your way to the front of the church where the prayer team will meet you.

Please join us for tea and coffee after the service in the hall.

 

6.00 pm   Evening Service

 

Large print copies of the song words are available on

request from the door stewards.

Hearing Loop – if you wish to use the hearing loop, please switch your hearing aid to the T position.  Note: it will only

operate in the downstairs center seating block.

Traidcraft

The young people will be holding a stall selling Traidcraft after the service today.

 

Arnolds Mead

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has worked on Arnolds Mead – the work is complete!  Thank you especially to Paul for all his hard work and for co-ordinating the project.

 

Can you help?
Can you save Pringles tins (the large ones – and they don’t have to be full!) for Rudloe Mums and Tots.  Please can you give them to Helen. 
 
Our new Youth Worker
Alanna will be starting work with us on 7th September, and Emma will be leaving the following week.  We would like to thank Emma for all her hard work over the last year with our young people.

 

Aid trip to Austria 24 Nov - 1st Dec
The Aid trip to the Oasis Centre for refugees in Vienna will be taking a van load of much needed men’s summer and winter clothes, prams, pushchairs, ladies ankle-length skirts, maternity   clothes and towels, so start putting those items aside and telling your friends and neighbours.  There is an opportunity for six people to join the team for this mission trip.  If you are interested, please speak to Louise in the first instance.

The Everetts have been blessed with the arrival of twin boys.  Benjamin and Matthew arrived on 24th August….mum and babes doing well!

Sunday Morning Preaching

From the beginning of September we will be looking at Mark’s gospel  both on Sunday mornings and in housegroups.

 

Housegroups

September is a great time to get involved in a housegroup, and if you are not already a member, why not have a chat to Graham about joining one.  Housegroups will start up again in the week beginning 11th September after the ...

 

Week of Prayer and Praise

We will be having a week of prayer for the life of the church at the beginning of September. Look out for details of different times and ways to take part in the prayer next week. We will be meeting on the evening of the 6th September for a time of prayer and praise.

 

Early Morning Prayer Meetings

Early morning prayer meetings will start again on Thursday 7th September.

 

Alpha

There will be an Alpha supper on Monday 25th September, 7.30 pm, with a course starting in October.  Please be praying for the preparation and planning and also be thinking about who you will be inviting!

 

Nancy and Phillip in Concert

Nancy and Phillip are holding “An Evening of Acoustic Music and Poetry” on Saturday 30th September, 7pm, at Sheldon Road Methodist Church, Chippenham.  Tickets are available on 01249 444375 or from Revelation Bookshop.

 

Retreat Weekend

We are organising a retreat weekend from 13th – 15th October at the Christian Encounter Centre, Shaftsbury.  Look out for further details and booking forms next week.  In the past, these retreat weekends have been a great blessing to folks.
