Welcome to our Sunday services today!

 

10.00 am Every Sunday - Morning Prayer for our services. 

All welcome

 

10.45 am Morning Worship with Junior Church and crèche.

           

After the service, prayer is available for anyone who would like to be prayed with – please make your way to the front of the church where the prayer team will meet you.

Please join us for tea and coffee after the service in the hall.

 

6.00 pm   Evening Service

 

Large print copies of the song words are available on

request from the door stewards.

Hearing Loop – if you wish to use the hearing loop, please switch your hearing aid to the T position.  Note: it will only

operate in the downstairs centre seating block.

To all those of you who worked hard to make Re:act happen. We had a great time, and the whole day went really well, so once again thanks for all your hard work!

Coming up in September …

 

Sunday Morning Preaching & Housegroups

From the beginning of September we will be looking at Mark’s gospel together, both on Sunday mornings and in housegroups. September is a great time to get involved in a house group, and if you are not already a member, why not have a chat to Graham about joining a group. Housegroups will start up again in the week beginning 11^th September after the….

 

Week of Prayer and Praise

We will be having a week of prayer for the life of the church at the beginning of September. Look out for details of different times and ways to take part in the prayer in a few weeks. We will be meeting on the evening of the 6^th September for a time of prayer and praise.

 

Alpha

We are in the process of planning our Alpha course for the coming term. There will be an Alpha Supper on 25^th September, with a course starting in October. Please be praying for the preparation and planning and also be thinking about who you will be inviting!

 

Aid trip to Austria

There will be an Aid trip to Austria in November, so start sorting out all those men’s clothes in preparation.  Further details will be available soon.

 

Arnolds Mead

The work is drawing to a close.  The tenant is expecting to move into the house soon and we are rapidly pulling things together.  We still need painters and handymen/women though.  Please see the list of jobs at the back of the church.

On Saturday 12^th August we will be holding a last work party to clean the house right through before handover, fence across the back of the drive, remove the pile of rocks in the garden and other cleaning up.  Cathy Simon is organizing the interior clean up.  If you can help, please see her.

For other work, please see Paul Garcia.  A big turnout would be great, to avoid the `few’ working into the evening.

For Bernard as he returns home to Malawi for the summer after almost a year here in England.

 

Early Morning Prayer Meetings

There will be no Early Morning Prayer Meetings in August.  Meetings will resume again on Thursday mornings after the summer break, starting 7^th September.

 

Dinner for 6

Could you invite a few Priory Street folk around for dinner? This is a pastoral care initiative for generating fellowship, understanding and inclusiveness.  Pick up a leaflet from the back of the church, pray about it, and sign up!

 

Retreat

We have a provisional booking for a retreat from the 13^th – 15^th October. These times have been a great blessing to folks in the past. Listen out for more details towards the end of August.

 

Can you help?

Can you save us Pringles Tins (The Large ones – and they don’t have to be full!) for Rudloe Mums and Tots. Please can you give them to Helen Turnbull.
